Malkangiri, Mar, 28:: A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Prathmesh Arvind Rajshirkhe to create awareness among youth and increase registration for Indian Army Agniveer recruitment.
The important meeting was conducted via video conference. It was attended by the Regional Director of Education (Jeypore), the Sub-Collector of Malkangiri, the District Skill Development and Employment Officer, the District Education Officer, the District Welfare Officer, the principals of Government ITI and Polytechnic institutions, and the Director of the ARO (Army Recruitment Office), Gopalpur.
It was informed during the meeting that the Agniveer registration process began on February 13 and will continue until April 1. The Sub-Collector, District Education Officer, and District Welfare Officer will review the daily progress of registrations and submit reports to the District Collector.
The District Collector stated that the district administration is committed to providing all necessary support to ensure that the youth of the district get the opportunity to join the Indian Army and serve the nation.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to all officials and the Director of the ARO, Gopalpur, for their cooperation.
