Jeypore, May 17: Keeping in view the heavy rush of passengers during the summer season, the Railway Department has announced a special summer express train service from Jagdalpur to Delhi .

The train will commence its journey from Jagdalpur on May 21 at 11:00 AM. Koraput station will be its only halt in Odisha, where it is scheduled to arrive at 1:00 PM. After a stoppage of 20 minutes, the train will proceed towards its destination.

This 18-coach special train will halt at only six major stations and is expected to reach Delhi on May 23 at 9:00 AM.

Similarly, on its return journey, the train will depart from Delhi at midnight on May 25 and reach Koraput at 8:00 PM on May 26. Covering an approximate distance of 1,994 kilometres, the train will take around 46 hours to complete the journey.
