Nabarangpur,June 4: A foundation stone was laid today for the construction of a new Bhoga Mandap (offering hall) at the famous Mahadev Temple located in Bharasundi village under Gona Panchayat of Raighar block. The ceremony was inaugurated by Odisha’s School and Mass Education Minister, Nityananda Gond.
The event was organized in a sacred and devotional atmosphere, where villagers and devotees participated with great enthusiasm. After completion, the Bhoga Mandap will be dedicated to various spiritual and religious activities of the temple.
Local residents expressed hope that the new structure will help in the smooth conduct of temple rituals and will greatly benefit devotees and worshippers. People also stated that along with the development of the temple, the religious environment of the village will become even stronger and more vibrant. The initiative has been widely welcomed by the local community.
