Bhubaneswar, Aug 26 [UDN}The Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Department has launched its new “Aam Saathi” WhatsApp Chatbot, aimed at making revenue-related services easier and more accessible for citizens.
Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari formally launched the new WhatsApp chatbot. The initiative will enable people to access various revenue services without having to visit government offices.
Key features of the Aam Saathi WhatsApp Chatbot include:
Citizens can avail themselves of various revenue services from the comfort of their homes.
Revenue services will become easier and more convenient through WhatsApp.
Services such as land mutation, conversion of land classification (Kisam), and various certificates will be available.
Applicants will be able to check the status of their applications online.
Citizens can also obtain Patta-related information through Bhulekh.
For lodging complaints or seeking assistance, citizens can contact 9437292000.
Digital delivery of services will help save citizens’ time, effort and repeated visits to government offices.
The main objective of the initiative is to provide revenue services to citizens at their doorstep through digital technology.
