Bargarh, July 8 (UDN): A large-scale search operation is underway in the Jhanjha Hills of Bargarh district after two youths went missing during an outing with friends.
The missing youths, identified as Raj Mallick and Ganesh Duduka, had visited the Kuthikhol area near the foothills of Jhanjha Hills along with a group of nine youths from Kansingha village. The group had gone there to spend time near the natural surroundings before exploring the hill area.
During the visit, the two youths became separated from the group and could not be found despite efforts by their companions. Following the incident, the Forest Department began a search operation with the help of local villagers and volunteers.
Teams are continuing their search across the difficult hilly and forest terrain, while the families of the missing youths have appealed to authorities for further assistance in locating them.
Officials said efforts are ongoing to trace the youths and ensure their safe return.
