Jagatsinghpur, July 17 (UDN): Security agencies launched a comprehensive search operation at the Jagatsinghpur District Court after an email containing a bomb threat was received, prompting authorities to tighten security as a precautionary measure.
Police, bomb disposal squads and other security personnel were immediately deployed to the court premises to conduct a thorough inspection of the complex. Officials examined the area and monitored the situation to ensure the safety of court staff, visitors and the public.
Initial searches did not detect any explosive materials. However, authorities continued precautionary measures while maintaining heightened security around the premises.
A cyber investigation has been initiated to trace the origin of the threatening email and identify those responsible. Police said the matter is being treated with seriousness, and efforts are underway to determine the motive behind the threat.
