Kothar, June 9: A blood donation camp was organized by the Dhamnagar Block unit of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) near Akhandalamani High School at Betaligaan in Palasahi Panchayat.
Former Dhamnagar Block Chairman Ashok Nayak inaugurated the camp. Among those present were Block BJD President Pratap Samal, constituency BJD leader Dr. Sanjay Das, Zilla Parishad member Pradeep Mallik, former Block BJD President Umesh Mohanty, Rajendra Palai, Sarpanch Jagatananda Sethi, Ajay Mallik, and Samiti member Sudipta Khatua.
The camp was managed by Block President Pratap Samal, Palasahi Panchayat BJD President Brajendra Mohanty, former Sarpanch Anil Das, Youth President Alok Rout, Sandeep Swain, Prashant Tripathy, Asit Das, Bhabaranjan Mohanty, Sukuta Mallik, Jitendra Das, Prakash Nayak, Sushant Khatua, Manoj Behera, and Krushnachandra Pradhan, among others.
Dr. Bimala Mishra, Manguli Pradhan, Manisha Jena, and Bhagyaswini Sahu were involved in collecting blood during the camp.
