Belguntha, Sept 19 [UDN}:: The SPARK-2026 programme was celebrated with enthusiasm and a festive atmosphere at Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya located at Pratap Laxmanpur under Belguntha block in Ganjam district.
The programme was organised under the chairmanship of school principal Manas Ranjan Dakuа. The event focused not only on academic excellence but also on nurturing students’ creativity, developing their talents and strengthening moral values. The programme provided an opportunity to highlight the importance of holistic education and the overall development of students.
Retired headmaster Ramesh Chandra Mahapatra attended the event as the chief guest, while retired headmaster Pratap Chandra Satapathy joined as the chief speaker. Retired headmaster Balakrishna Sabat, CRCC Chhayakanu Mahapatra, retired teacher Sitakanta Tripathy, and teacher and School Management Committee member Neeraja Kumari Tripathy attended the programme as distinguished guests.
School principal Manas Ranjan Dakuа delivered the welcome address, while teacher Swarnalata Sahu introduced the guests to the gathering. In their addresses, the guests spoke to the students about the importance of education, discipline, character building and setting clear goals in life. They encouraged the students to pursue academic and personal excellence while maintaining strong values and a sense of responsibility.
During the programme, students who had achieved distinction in various fields were felicitated and presented with awards. The recognition was aimed at encouraging students to continue developing their abilities and to inspire others to participate actively in academic, cultural and extracurricular activities.
The final segment of the celebration featured a colourful cultural programme presented by the students. Their performances created an engaging atmosphere and were appreciated by the guests, teachers and parents present at the event.
Teacher Santosh Kumar Goud proposed the vote of thanks, bringing the SPARK-2026 celebration to a close. The programme served as a platform to celebrate student achievements while reinforcing the importance of education, creativity, discipline, values and all-round personality development.
