Special Development Council Chairperson Honoured at Umarkote Event

Umarkote, April 16:  The 47th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was celebrated at the party office near the new bus stand in Umarkote.
On this occasion, School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond and BJP State Vice-President Ramesh Chandra Sahu hoisted the party flag. Minister Gond spoke about the formation of the party, its growth, and its strong position today, while also motivating party workers to further strengthen the organization in the coming days.
Ramesh Chandra Sahu advised party members to stay connected with the public by engaging in cleanliness drives and community activities.
Later, newly appointed Special Development Council Chairperson Basanti Majhi was felicitated by the party. She expressed her commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities assigned to her with sincerity.
The event was conducted by Umarkote Town General Secretary Prabhat Kumar Nayak. Among others present were Minister’s representative Ashok Kumar Padhi, MP’s representative Ram Nayak, District General Secretary Suresh Kumar Acharya, and other party members.
The speakers also emphasized the importance of spreading awareness among people about various government schemes and programs.
