Jeypore, April 09: An arms exhibition and dog show were organized by Border Security Force and Central Industrial Security Force at Raja Nagar area in Jeypore, Koraput district, on the occasion of their jubilee celebration.
The event was held to mark the anniversary celebrations, where various weapons, equipment, and trained dog demonstrations were showcased.
Among the dignitaries present were local royal representative Bisweshwar Chandra Dev, BSF DIG, Jeypore SDPO Archita Mittal, and BDO Shakti Mahapatra.
During the program, heartfelt tributes were paid to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation, and their families were honored.
Security forces, including BSF and COBRA units, displayed their skills and operational techniques. The role of trained dogs in national service was highlighted as extremely important, and several live demonstrations were performed by them.
Various arms and equipment used by forces like BSF and CRPF were exhibited for public awareness.
A large number of local residents and school students visited the exhibition. Security personnel explained to the students how the armed forces protect the country from enemy threats at the borders.
Inspired by the demonstrations, many students expressed their willingness to serve the nation and contribute to its security in the future.
