New Delhi,July 9 [UDN}:  During his visit to New Delhi, Odisha Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling met Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Prataprao Jadhav.
The Health Minister formally proposed the establishment of an All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Odisha to strengthen the state’s traditional healthcare infrastructure.
The proposal aims to promote Ayurveda through advanced education, research, and quality healthcare services.
An AIIA in Odisha would enhance access to holistic treatment and create new opportunities for medical education and employment.
The institute is expected to boost research in traditional medicine while preserving India’s rich Ayurvedic heritage.
The initiative reflects the Odisha government’s commitment to improving healthcare and expanding AYUSH services across the state.
