Jharigaon, Mar, 20: Under the State Government’s important land reform initiative, Basundhara Yojana, land ownership pattas were distributed to 33 beneficiaries.
The primary objective of the scheme is to provide land rights to landless and economically weaker families, thereby ensuring their social and economic security.
On this occasion, Tahasildar Sumanta Patra, Additional Tahasildar Hahally Muduli, and Revenue Inspector Basanta Kumar Bisoi were present and handed over the land pattas to beneficiaries from Dhanpur, Pashwarbeli, and Kalegaon villages.
The officials stated that through the Basundhara Yojana, landless families can secure land ownership and further strengthen their livelihoods.
The beneficiaries who received the pattas expressed happiness and welcomed the government’s initiative.
Local revenue department officials are also continuously making efforts to ensure the successful implementation of the scheme.
