Three Nabarangpur Officers Felicitated for Outstanding OSWAS Performance, Setting an Example of Efficiency and Accountability in Government Work

Nabarangpur,Aug 8 [UDN}:: A special felicitation ceremony was organised at the Nabarangpur District Collectorate Conference Hall to honour officers who demonstrated remarkable performance in the Odisha Secretariat Workflow Automation System (OSWAS). District Collector Dr. Maheswar Swain attended the programme as the chief guest and presented appreciation certificates to the outstanding performers.
Additional Collector (General) Dr. Pramod Kumar Prusti and Additional Collector (Revenue) Biswajit Barman were present during the event and encouraged the officers for their achievements.
OSWAS is a major e-governance platform of the Odisha Government that enables online management of official files, faster decision-making, timely delivery of services, and ensures transparency and efficiency in administration.
During the ceremony, three officers who secured top performance in OSWAS during July 2026 were felicitated with appreciation letters for their dedication and efficiency.
Addressing the gathering, District Collector Dr. Maheswar Swain said that OSWAS is not merely a software system but a powerful tool for good governance, transparency, and effective administration. He emphasised that faster disposal of files helps ensure timely completion of public works and services.
“The officers honoured today have set an excellent example through their dedication, sense of responsibility, and professional efficiency. I hope other officers will also follow their example and improve their performance in OSWAS. With collective efforts, Nabarangpur district can emerge as one of the leading districts in OSWAS performance across Odisha,” the Collector said.
Dr. Swain further informed that OSWAS performance would be reviewed every month to encourage excellence, and the top three performers would be recognised regularly with appreciation certificates. He said this initiative would create healthy competition among employees and bring greater efficiency to the work culture.
The Additional Collectors congratulated the honoured officers and urged all departments and branches to reduce pending files to zero, ensure timely disposal of cases through OSWAS, and provide better administrative services to the people.
District-level officers, departmental officials, and employees from various sections of the Collectorate attended the programme and congratulated the award-winning officers. The event concluded successfully in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and commitment towards improving administrative efficiency.
