Bhubaneswar, June 2: Rich tributes were paid to veteran freedom fighter and former Odisha Chief Minister Biswanath Das on his death anniversary, with leaders and citizens remembering his immense contribution to the state and the nation.

Biswanath Das is widely regarded as one of the key architects of modern Odisha and played a pivotal role in the movement for the formation of a separate Odisha province.
