New Delhi, Mar 23: Worldmark, Aerocity by Brookfield Properties successfully hosted a Vintage Car Rally & Display, transforming the destination into a vibrant showcase of old-world elegance and automotive excellence.
Curated in collaboration with the Heritage Motoring Club of India (HMCI), led by Mr. Diljeet Titus, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India and a renowned vintage car collector, the two-day event featured a curated showcase of 18 vintage cars and select classic motorbikes, owned and presented by passionate collectors.
The event commenced with a heritage rally through Aerocity, where the vintage cars were driven in a non-competitive format, celebrating craftsmanship and legacy rather than speed. The rally culminated at Worldmark, transforming the destination into an open-air showcase of automotive history, where visitors could experience these timeless machines up close.
Visitors had the opportunity to witness iconic models such as the 1919 Ford Model T, 1930 Mercedes Benz 260 Stuttgart, 1957 Bentley S1, 1968 Mini Cooper, and the 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280S, among others, offering a rare glimpse into the evolution of automotive design and excellence.
The showcase also featured expert-led walkthroughs, where enthusiasts and visitors engaged with collectors and specialists to learn about the history, restoration, and legacy of these vintage automobiles. The experience was further complemented by curated hospitality experiences at Worldmark, creating a vibrant and immersive atmosphere for attendees.
