12th JULY 2025: The third edition of the CII-IWN Shakti Awards 2025, held under the powerful theme “From Shakti to Samriddhi”, served as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring women entrepreneurs across the country. Designed to recognize and celebrate the strength, innovation, and resilience of women, the event reaffirmed the belief that true economic progress is incomplete without women’s leadership at its core.

The ceremony was marked by the presence of Anu Garg, Development Commissioner, along with senior officials from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). As the chief guest, Anu Garg emphasized the transformative role of women in shaping a progressive and inclusive society. She highlighted how women leaders are not just participating in development but actively driving it across various sectors.

The CII-IWN (Indian Women Network) Shakti Awards 2025 aim to provide both recognition and a platform for women who dream of becoming changemakers. With a mission to support women on their journey from lakhpati didis to crorepati entrepreneurs, the initiative seeks to turn aspirations into achievements through collaborative efforts with stakeholders and industry leaders.

The event celebrated exceptional women achievers across multiple categories, honoring their contributions in areas like entrepreneurship, innovation, social impact, sustainability, and leadership. These recognitions not only validate their efforts but also inspire many more to step forward and pursue their dreams with confidence.

By bringing together policymakers, industry veterans, and grassroots change-makers, the Shakti Awards have emerged as a catalyst for empowering women and creating a ripple effect of prosperity in communities. As India continues its journey toward inclusive growth, such platforms play a critical role in building a future where women lead with strength and vision.
