Dhenkanal, Dec, 08: A discussion circle was held on Monday at the foothills of Kapilas under the auspices of the Dhenkanal chapter of the Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das Foundation for Thought.
State President of Utkal Sammilani, Prof. Adwait Kumar Patra; State President of the Foundation, Dr. Dayamanu Charji; retired Headmaster Biren Ray; social activist Bishwajit; Aryendu Kumar Jena; Gopal Samal; Debabrata Rout; Lotan Khuntia; and women social activists Tikili Panda and Debaki Behera were among the dignitaries who attended.
The life, philosophy, contributions, and the role of Madhusudan Das in the formation of a separate province of Odisha were discussed in detail. To fulfill Madhubabu’s vision, it was resolved that various programmes would be undertaken in the future in Dhenkanal district—such as promoting organic farming, strengthening Odia identity, engaging unemployed youth in nation-building activities, and making farmers self-reliant. It was also decided to spread Madhubabu’s ideas to every household in Odisha.
