Bhubaneswar, Feb, 26: A major announcement has been made by the Chief Administrator of Jagannath Temple regarding the inventory counting of the Ratna Bhandar (treasury).
The SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) approved by the State Government has been received by us.
We have obtained a detailed 14-page SOP.
A decision has been taken to form two teams for the counting and verification process.
A supervisory team and an executive team will be constituted.
Both teams will be led by the Chief Administrator.
The Temple Managing Committee will finalize the date from which the counting process will begin.
The counting and verification cannot be carried out on days of important rituals.
From today until Niladri Bije, we have 135 days available.
However, out of these 135 days, counting and verification cannot be conducted on 100 days.
