Jatani, Oct 6 [UDN}:The TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) has launched a widespread awareness campaign to ensure that the benefits of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana reach more households and communities.
As part of the initiative, a Solar Rath is touring various villages in Jatani Block of Khordha district, where trained Solar Saathis are educating residents about the benefits of adopting solar energy and installing rooftop solar systems.
Through the campaign, residents are being informed about the advantages of generating electricity through rooftop solar installations, including the potential to reduce dependence on conventional electricity and lower household power expenses.
The outreach programme is also aimed at helping people understand the provisions and benefits available under the PM Surya Ghar scheme, while encouraging greater participation in rooftop solar adoption.
