Digital Push in Jharsuguda as ‘Sahaj’ Chatbot Introduced for Faster Public Services

Jharsuguda, April 21:  In Jharsuguda, a new initiative named ‘Sahaj’ chatbot (Swift Access and Help) has been launched to provide quick and easy solutions to public grievances.
This citizen-friendly system has been developed under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, aligning with the vision of a “people’s government.”
The initiative was formally inaugurated by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari through video conferencing.
Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy, Sambalpur Revenue Divisional Commissioner Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, and District Collector Kunal Motiram Chavan were present during the event.
To provide quick and simple grievance redressal for citizens
To reduce the need for repeated visits to government offices
To strengthen communication between the public and administration
To make governance more transparent, responsive, and accessible
Minister Suresh Pujari emphasized that the main goal is to bring governance closer to the people and make the system more accountable.
MLA Tankadhar Tripathy highlighted that public participation is essential for transparent governance and urged citizens to use the platform responsibly for genuine issues.
The ‘Sahaj’ chatbot is an innovative step by the Jharsuguda district administration to empower citizens and ensure faster delivery of government services, making governance more efficient and people-centric.
