Second Edition of Lok Mahotsav and Trade Fair Concludes in Kandhamal Showcasing Culture, Crafts, and Commerce

Phulbani, April 23: The second Kandhamal Lok Mahotsav and Trade Fair–2026 concluded on its final day with  active participation. On the occasion, Kandhamal District Collector Ved Bhushan visited the fair in the evening and expressed after touring various stalls set up by self-help groups and the  department.
During his visit, he purchased items from a pickle stall from Brahmapur and also bought books from the Kamala Prakashani book stall. His visit brought encouragement to the traders, who expressed satisfaction 
Accompanying him were Trade Fair President and senior journalist Sunil Pattnaik, Vice-President and journalist Radhamohan Mahapatra, and member Mohammad Chishti, among others.
The District Collector remarked that the fair was well-organized, attractive, and successful. It is noteworthy that the festival and trade fair were inaugurated on April 8 by Collector Ved Bhushan along with SP Harish Bishi. On the final day, the Collector visited the fair for the second time.
Trade Fair President Sunil Pattnaik expressed gratitude on behalf of the organizing committee to the district administration for their sincere support and cooperation in making the event successful.
