Balimela to Cuttack Bus Service Begins Operations, Bringing Relief to Daily Commuters and Travelers

BalimelaMay 05:: A new private bus service named “Satya” has been launched from Balimela starting today.
The bus departs from Balimela at 4:00 PM and travels via Jeypore, Koraput, Salur, Rajam, and Bhubaneswar, reaching Cuttack at around 7:00 AM the next day. The bus is equipped with AC facilities, sleeper arrangements, and 1/2 seating options, ensuring a comfortable journey for passengers during the approximately 15-hour trip.
According to the bus conductor, all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure passengers can travel comfortably and reach their destination with ease.
Earlier, a government bus service operated from Chitrakonda to Cuttack, but due to the lack of adequate facilities, passengers were not very interested in using it. People from areas such as Chitrakonda, Tunnel Camp, Balimela, Niladri Nagar, Kudumulugumma, Khairput, and nearby villages depended on that single service. However, due to the absence of modern amenities, many preferred not to travel via that route.
With the introduction of this private “Satya” bus service from Balimela to Cuttack, there has been a wave of joy among the local people. Advance ticket booking facilities are also available, allowing passengers to book their seats in advance, as informed by Balimela ticket counter official Nikash Mohanty.
