Forest Department Gets New Leadership as DFO Takes Charge in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur, May 17: IFS officer Udayan Subuddhi has taken charge as the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Nabarangpur. The previous DFO, Shubhendu Prasad Behera, has been transferred to the state headquarters.

A farewell and welcome ceremony was organized today at the District Forest Officer’s office premises. Prior to this posting, Mr. Subuddhi had served as the DFO of Sundargarh.

During Mr. Behera’s tenure, the Kodinga Alphabet Garden received appreciation at the state level. The officers and staff present at the event recalled and praised his contributions.

After assuming office at the District Forest Department, Mr. Subuddhi sought cooperation from all staff members and stated that priority would be given to forest and environmental protection.
Among those present at the programme were Additional Conservator of Forests Subhash Chandra Khuntia, Divya Madhuri Sethi, Nabarangpur Ranger Gopinath Sahu, Kodinga Ranger Purnachandra Nanda, Umerkote Ranger Debasmita Sahu, Jharigaon Ranger Gobinda Nayak, Dabugaon Ranger Ramachandra Bhatra, Raighar Ranger Mohammad Sammat, along with foresters and other staff members.
