Balanga, May 17: The traditional Bhaunri Yatra of Bakreshwar Deb was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The main attraction of the festival was the traditional Naga dance performance.
On behalf of the Bakreshwar Melan Committee, Naga Paika Akhada performers and participants of various traditional cultural programs were felicitated with sarees, ceremonial headgear, flowers, sandalwood paste, and garlands.
Among those present at the event were committee advisor Subas Chandra Pati, president Prafulla Kumar Pradhan, secretary Balabhadra Jena, social workers Srikar Pradhan and Krupasindhu
Dutta, journalist Manas Ranjan Dash, Balanga Panchayat president Prabhakar Nayak, sarpanch Anjali Pradhan, samiti member Prakash Sahu, Prasanna Kumar Satapathy, along with members of the management committee and senior representatives from various local community groups.
