Bargarh,, May 26: A high-level meeting was held regarding the establishment of handloom hubs and parks in the districts of Cuttack, Bargarh, and Jajpur.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on setting up handloom hubs and parks in the three districts of the state. The proposed initiative aims to strengthen the handloom sector, promote traditional weaving craftsmanship, and create better market opportunities for local artisans and weavers. Officials also discussed infrastructure development, skill enhancement, and measures to boost employment and economic growth through the promotion of Odisha’s rich handloom heritage
