Zilla Parishad Nabarangpur Announces Week-Long Exhibition and Awareness Activities Beginning June 12 to Mark Government’s Two-Year Milestone

Nabarangpur:  June 12:  A preparatory meeting was held today at the District Council Conference Hall under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain regarding the celebration of the Odisha Government’s completion of two years in office and to highlight its achievements in governance and development before the public.

The program, titled “Bikashara Dhara, Odisha Sara” (The Stream of Development Across Odisha), will begin in the district from June 12.
At the district level, a three-day exhibition will be organized along with:
A seminar on “Developed India for a Developed Odisha”
Project visits
Presentations on the achievements of Aspirational Districts and Blocks
Workshops on organic farming
At the block level, seven-day exhibitions and programs will be conducted featuring:
Rural development and infrastructure exhibitions
Tribal interaction programs
Farmer workshops on natural farming
“Save the Fields” campaign
Programs for self-reliant youth
Ayushman Vayo Vandana initiatives
Distribution of assistance to beneficiaries of various departmental schemes
Similarly, at the Gram Panchayat level, programs related to:
Chief Minister’s Kanya Bibaha Yojana
Chief Minister’s Annapurna Yojana
Subhadra Shakti Samabesh
Distribution of benefits to beneficiaries under different welfare schemes
will also be organized.
Booklets and informational materials regarding the benefits, eligibility, and application procedures of government schemes will be distributed to create awareness among the public.
It was informed that on June 5, 2026, a secretary-level virtual meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary was conducted with all District Collectors and officials to discuss the successful organization of the event.
The District Collector instructed all departmental officers to coordinate effectively at the district, block, and panchayat levels to ensure the successful conduct of the programs and broad public participation.
