Kotpad , June 12: At Surli village under Chandili Panchayat of Kotpad block, a detailed discussion was held with farmers from Lahaanja, Pirinji, and Surli villages regarding the benefits of cultivating crops through the AWD (Alternate Wetting and Drying) method.
The discussion also focused on how methane gas emissions into the atmosphere can be reduced and what kind of assistance and cooperation could be provided by the Sabha team.
Chandili Panchayat Sarpanch Pushpanjali Pujari, the Surli ward member, and members of the Sabha team were present and contributed to making the program successful.
