Koraput Electrical Division Gets New Executive Engineer as Department Focuses on Strengthening Power Infrastructure and Service Delivery

Koraput:June 13:  Shri Rashmi Ranjan Mahapatra has officially assumed charge as the new Executive Engineer of the TPSODL (TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited) Koraput Electrical Division.

He took over the responsibility from the outgoing Executive Engineer, Shri Bhagaban Pradhan, during a formal charge-handover process. With this appointment, Shri Mahapatra will now oversee the functioning of the Koraput Electrical Division, including the management of power distribution services, maintenance of electrical infrastructure, consumer service delivery, and implementation of various electricity-related projects within the division’s jurisdiction.

According to available information, Shri Bhagaban Pradhan has been transferred to Hinjilicut, where he will continue his duties in a new assignment. During his tenure in Koraput, he was associated with the administration and operation of electricity distribution services in the region.

The change in leadership is expected to ensure continuity in the functioning of the power distribution network in Koraput district. The incoming Executive Engineer, Shri Rashmi Ranjan Mahapatra, is expected to focus on strengthening power supply management, improving consumer services, addressing electricity-related grievances, and ensuring the smooth execution of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure development works under TPSODL.

Officials and staff members of the division welcomed the new Executive Engineer and extended their best wishes for his tenure. At the same time, they expressed their appreciation for the services rendered by Shri Bhagaban Pradhan and wished him success in his new posting at Hinjilicut.

The transfer and assumption of charge mark a routine administrative transition within TPSODL aimed at maintaining efficient management and effective delivery of electricity services across its operational areas. Under the new leadership, the Koraput Electrical Division is expected to continue its efforts toward providing reliable and quality power supply to consumers while supporting the region’s developmental and economic activities.
