Bhubaneswar, June 17: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has successfully completed the re-evaluation of answer sheets for the 2026 Matriculation Examination well ahead of the scheduled timeline, ensuring smooth academic progression for students.
According to official sources, more than 3,300 students had applied for re-checking of their answer sheets. As many candidates applied for multiple subjects, over 9,000 answer sheets were re-evaluated by examiners at the Board headquarters.
The Board has confirmed that revised marks will be updated and fresh digital certificates will be issued following the publication of results. Students will be able to download their updated certificates directly from the official BSE Odisha website.
The re-evaluation results are scheduled to be published on June 19.
Officials stated that the process was expedited to align with the Plus II admission deadline of June 30, ensuring that students who benefit from improved marks do not miss out on higher education opportunities. In earlier years, delays in re-checking results had led to some students missing admission deadlines.
The Board has also announced that the Matric Supplementary Examination 2026 will be conducted from July 2 to July 10.
The early completion of the process is expected to provide timely clarity for students and support a smoother transition to higher secondary education.
