Nabarangpur/June 20: {UDN}: A Public Grievance Hearing Camp was organized on Tuesday at the conference hall of the Chandahandi Panchayat Samiti in Nabarangpur district. The camp was jointly chaired by Additional District Magistrate (General) Dr. Pramod Kumar Prusti and Shubhendu Kumar Sabar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Umerkote.
The camp was attended by Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad; Sharat Kumar Majhi, Additional Sub-Collector; Chainu Gand, Block Development Officer (BDO) of Chandahandi; Sahadev Kutraka, Tahsildar; and several district-level officers from various government departments. They listened to and reviewed the grievances submitted by members of the public.
A total of 62 grievance petitions were received during the camp. Of these, 48 petitions related to individual issues, while 14 petitions concerned village-level and community-related problems. The concerned departmental officials were directed to take prompt action and ensure the early resolution of the grievances received.
On this occasion, Srinivas Patro approved financial assistance for the medical treatment of a needy and underprivileged individual from the Red Cross Fund, providing much-needed support to the beneficiary.
The grievance hearing camp served as an important platform for citizens to directly present their concerns before government authorities, enabling the administration to address public issues efficiently and strengthen the connection between the government and the people.
