Railways gears up for Rath Yatra with elaborate arrangements, including the operation of more than 300 special trains for devotees travelling from different parts of the country to Puri.

Bhubaneswar:July 15 [UDN}:   Indian Railways has made extensive preparations for the upcoming Rath Yatra festival. More than 300 special trains will be operated to facilitate the movement of devotees to Puri during the grand event.

The special train services will make travel to Puri much easier for pilgrims and visitors from Western and Southern Odisha. Railway authorities have taken this step to manage the huge rush of passengers expected during the festival season.

The initiative is aimed at ensuring a safe, comfortable, and convenient journey for devotees travelling to witness the world-famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri.
