Odisha Health Department Holds Comprehensive Review of Healthcare Progress Across State, Emphasises Better Services and Infrastructure

Bhubaneswar, Aug 12 [UDN}:A high-level meeting of the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department was held in Bhubaneswar to review the progress of healthcare services across the state.
The meeting discussed preparedness to tackle the current flood situation, control of dengue and tuberculosis, maternal and child healthcare, and the effective implementation of key health schemes, including Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana (GJAY), Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), and UDID.
The meeting also reviewed hospital construction, medicine supply through OSMCL, and the expansion of AYUSH services.
The Health Department Secretary, State NHM Director and senior departmental officials attended the meeting.
