Odisha Government Intensifies Flood Monitoring Following Renewed Heavy Rainfall; Local Administration Remains on High Alert to Ensure Timely Rescue and Relief

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 19 [UDN}:To ensure the smooth management of rescue and relief operations, three senior and experienced officers have been assigned special responsibility for Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts. The Special Relief Commissioner is continuously coordinating with all district administrations and supervising the operations.
Ensuring the safety of the affected people and delivering relief to them at the earliest is our highest priority. Tomorrow, I will visit the flood-affected areas and personally assess the situation.
