Bhubaneswar, Aug 27 [UDN}:Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, Shri Ravi Narayan Naik, visited Bhadrak district and toured various flood-affected areas to assess and review the actual ground situation. During his visit, the Minister took stock of the extent of flooding, the difficulties faced by the affected people, and the ongoing relief and response measures being undertaken by the administration.
The Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Sports and Youth Affairs, and Odia Language, Literature and Culture, along with the Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Bhadrak, the Hon’ble MLA of Bhadrak and Chairman of the District Planning Board, the District Collector of Bhadrak, and other senior district-level officials were present during the inspection. The officials briefed the Minister on the prevailing flood situation, relief operations and measures being taken to provide necessary assistance to people in the affected areas.
