Learning Skills Assessment for Class 9 Students to Help Identify Gaps and Improve Educational Outcomes

Bhubaneswar,Aug 29 [UDN}: The learning abilities of Class 9 students across Odisha will be assessed under the ‘LEP-Utkarsh’ programme. As part of the initiative, a Baseline Assessment Test will be conducted on August 28 and 31 to determine the students’ existing learning levels and academic competencies.

The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has informed all District Education Officers (DEOs) about the assessment and directed them to make the necessary arrangements. Students will appear for assessment tests in four subjects—Odia, Mathematics, English and Science.
