Malkangiri,Sept 17 [UDN}:During his visit to Khairput, Malkangiri Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke visited the Khairput Government High School and interacted directly with the students. The Collector not only inspected the educational facilities but also took a class and taught the students, engaging them in discussions and encouraging them to actively participate in their studies.

The interaction provided an opportunity for the Collector to understand the students’ academic interests, learning experiences and the issues they may be facing in the school. His decision to personally take a class also highlighted the importance of quality teaching, regular student engagement and strengthening the overall learning environment in government schools.

Following his visit to the school, the Collector visited the ‘Pragati Pathe Yuva Malkangiri’ centre and reviewed the activities being undertaken there. The initiative is aimed at supporting and empowering young people in the district by providing them with opportunities and institutional support for their development.

During the visit, the Collector also inspected the ongoing construction work of a new medical facility at the centre. He reviewed the progress of the construction and took stock of various aspects related to the execution of the project.

The Collector stressed that the construction work must meet high standards of quality and workmanship. He directed the officials and agencies concerned to ensure that all prescribed standards are strictly followed and that there is no compromise in the quality of the infrastructure.

He further instructed the concerned departmental officials to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe. Timely completion, he said, would be important for ensuring that the facility becomes operational and delivers the intended benefits to the people at the earliest.
