Bhubaneswar, Sept 23 [UDN}:A new set of rules governing the registration of births and deaths is set to come into effect from October 1, bringing significant changes to the procedure for delayed registration.
Under the revised system, applications for delayed registration of births and deaths will require approval from the designated authorities. In certain cases, an order from a Judicial Magistrate will also be necessary before the registration can be completed.
The changes are aimed at making the birth and death registration process more structured and ensuring that delayed registrations are properly verified before official records are updated.
