Bhubaneswar, Sept 24 [UDN}:A review meeting on the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ was held in Malkangiri, with Odisha Minister Gokulananda Mallik placing emphasis on strengthening public participation and promoting the development of education among tribal communities.
During the review, the Minister highlighted the need to ensure greater involvement of local people in development initiatives and to improve educational opportunities for tribal children and communities. He also stressed the importance of implementing welfare and development programmes effectively at the grassroots level.
The Minister called for greater focus on fish farming in Chitrakonda, noting its potential to create livelihood opportunities for local communities. He also urged efforts to promote entrepreneurship and create more industrial entrepreneurs in Malkangiri district, so that local resources and skills can contribute to employment generation and economic development.
The review focused on strengthening development activities through people’s participation and ensuring that government initiatives reach beneficiaries effectively across the district.
