Bhubaneswar, Sept 26 [UDN}:Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today launched the statewide cooperative membership campaign ‘Sambandh’, aimed at strengthening and expanding the cooperative movement across the state.
On the occasion, Koraput MLA Raghuram Machha and the SDC Chairman were present and called upon people to actively participate in the initiative and make the cooperative movement stronger and more widespread.
The ‘Sambandh’ Maha Abhiyan seeks to expand cooperative membership and ensure that the benefits and opportunities offered through the cooperative sector reach people at the grassroots level. Through the campaign, the government aims to take the advantages of cooperative institutions from village to village and to every family, encouraging greater participation and strengthening community-based economic activities.
The initiative is expected to play a role in widening the reach of cooperative societies and connecting more people with the cooperative movement across Odisha.
