Kamarda,Oct 5 [UDN}:: A blood donation camp was organised at the premises of Sudhanshu Sekhar High School in Dahunda Panchayat under Bhograi block on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
The camp was organised as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan by the BJP Kamarda Mandal. BJP North Balasore Organisational District President Pradip Kumar Panda inaugurated the camp as the chief guest.
Bhograi BJP leader Ashish Patra attended as another guest, while BJP leaders Anshuman Mohanty, Sanjeev Sahu, Ashish Kumar Mohanty, district general secretary Ashok Das, district vice-president Sabanti Mishra, North Balasore Yuva Morcha president Phalguni Panigrahi, general secretary Tapan Patra, district vice-president Radhakanta Pradhan, Snehalata Behera, Yuva Morcha district secretary Pratap Pradhan, Satyajit Das, district blood donors’ association president Kamal Chakraborty, and Dr Uttam Kumar Dandapat were among those present.
The guests encouraged the blood donors and appreciated their contribution to the cause of saving lives.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Kamarda Mandal president Satyabrata Jena and social worker Pradip Kumar Jena. A total of 51 units of blood were collected during the camp.
Gaurahari Pal, Jagannath Paik Rai, Manik Rai, Gorachand Das Adhikari, Aniruddha Patra, Dinesh Jena and Laxmidhar Barik, along with other office-bearers and members of the Kamarda Mandal, extended their cooperation in organising the programme.
