Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 [UDN}:A low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal on October 13 under the influence of an active cyclonic circulation, raising the possibility of rainfall in several parts of Odisha over the coming days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the developing weather system may increase rainfall activity across parts of the state, particularly in northern and coastal Odisha.
Rainfall is likely at some places between October 13 and 15, with coastal and northern districts expected to experience a greater impact. The weather change may bring some relief from the prevailing hot and sunny conditions, as cloudy skies and rain could help ease the discomfort caused by heat and humidity.
The cyclonic circulation is being monitored by meteorological authorities, and the exact movement and intensity of the potential low-pressure system will become clearer after its formation. At present, the development of a stronger weather system cannot be confirmed, and residents are advised to follow the latest IMD forecasts and district-level weather advisories.
