Jeypore: Nov 5 (UDN): Tara Prasad Das, convenor of the Jeypore Public Forum, has urged the authorities to take proactive measures to prevent road accidents and ensure public safety in the city.
He has requested the installation of vehicle speed-control measures and appropriate warning signboards at the junction connecting the newly constructed Jagannath Sagar Hooda Road with the Second Daily Market Bypass. Highlighting the potential risk of road accidents at the junction due to vehicular movement, he submitted a written memorandum to the Sub-Collector, urging immediate intervention to safeguard commuters and the general public.
