17th February 2025: Odisha has launched the “Lakshpati Didi Sahayika Yojana” to promote women’s empowerment, providing permanent roles for over 62,000 community support staff. This initiative aims to offer financial security and enhance economic opportunities for women, enabling them to contribute more effectively to local development.
ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଗଠନରେ କମ୍ୟୁନିଟି ସପୋର୍ଟ ଷ୍ଟାଫଙ୍କର ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ରହିଛି। “ଲକ୍ଷପତି ଦିଦି ସହାୟିକା ଯୋଜନା” ଦ୍ୱାରା ୬୨ହଜାରରୁ ଅଧିକ କମ୍ୟୁନିଟି ସପୋର୍ଟ ଷ୍ଟାଫ୍ ଲାଭବାନ ହେବେ। ବକେୟା ପାରିଶ୍ରମିକ ପାଇବା ନେଇ ଗତକାଲି ଘୋଷଣା ହେବା ପରେ ଆଜି ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରୁ କମ୍ୟୁନିଟି ସପୋର୍ଟ ଷ୍ଟାଫ ମାନେ ଆସି ରାଜ୍ୟ ଅତିଥି ଭବନ… pic.twitter.com/q2tP9OEqIf

Following the announcement, community support staff from various districts met with Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida to express their gratitude.
This scheme emphasizes the state’s commitment to empowering women and ensuring their significant role in Odisha’s growth and prosperity.
