Cuttack, Nov 12: Mrs. Anu Garg, the Development Commissioner of Odisha, along with senior officials, conducted a review meeting at the Navanijya Sangrahalaya (Maritime Museum) in Cuttack to assess the preparations for the upcoming Bali Yatra festival. The meeting included discussions with the Secretary, Police Commissioner, District Collector, and senior engineers, where Mrs. Garg issued directives to ensure the timely completion of all arrangements for the festival.
The Bali Yatra is one of Odisha’s most significant and historic festivals, celebrating the rich maritime history and cultural heritage of the state. It commemorates the ancient maritime trade routes to Bali, Indonesia, and beyond, highlighting Odisha’s historical connections with Southeast Asia.
