Balasore, Feb 19: A three-day National Conference on ‘New Horizons of the Indian Knowledge System’ began at Fakir Mohan University (FMU), organized by its Sanskrit department and development council.
FMU Vice Chancellor Santosh Kumar Tripathy presided over the event, which was inaugurated by Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi. Sarangi spoke on India’s ancient education, medical sciences, the link between spirituality and science, and the preservation of Vedic knowledge.
Bhaskar Behera, Chairman of the PG Council, and Gopal Prasad Mohapatra of Ekamra College, Bhubaneswar, also attended as special guests.
