This unified scheme aims to improve the health and nutrition of pregnant and lactating mothers, as well as their infants. It is expected to significantly reduce maternal and child mortality rates across the state.
A total outlay of ₹2,670 crore has been earmarked for the implementation of this initiative over the next five years, reinforcing the government’s commitment to maternal and child welfare.
