The event, held at Rabindra Mandap, is organized by the Odisha Department of Language, Literature, and Culture, alongside the Department of Information and Public Relations. It will feature exhibitions on photography, books, and visual arts, all celebrating Dr. Mahatab’s life and legacy.
Dr. Mahatab, affectionately known as ‘Utkal Kesari,’ played a pivotal role in the creation of Odisha as a separate state in 1936. His dedication to Odisha’s growth, particularly in education, culture, and social welfare, continues to inspire generations. His leadership and vision for a progressive Odisha remain a source of pride for the state, and this anniversary celebration serves as a reminder of his lasting impact.
