Bhubaneswar, Sept 24 [UDN}: The 11th Ayurveda Day was celebrated at the Government Ayurvedic College in Bhubaneswar, highlighting the growing relevance of Ayurveda and other traditional systems of medicine in healthcare.
Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling attended the programme and spoke about the increasing popularity and public acceptance of AYUSH-based healthcare. He said that traditional systems of medicine are gaining greater recognition among people for their role in promoting health and well-being.
The Minister said the Odisha Government is taking comprehensive steps to strengthen the infrastructure and quality of Ayurvedic healthcare services across the state. He emphasised the need to further improve facilities and ensure better healthcare services through Ayurveda and other AYUSH systems.
