Kendrapara, Nov 5 (UDN): A significant milestone has been achieved in the industrial development of Kendrapara district, with 38.884 acres of land at Panturi under Pattamundai block receiving recognition as an industrial area.
A total of 14 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) units have been approved for establishment in the proposed industrial area. The project is expected to attract an investment of approximately ₹199.204 crore and generate around 1,000 employment opportunities.
This achievement has been made possible through the coordinated efforts of the Kendrapara district administration, the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) and DIPA.
The initiative is expected to open up new avenues of employment for local youth, encourage entrepreneurship and create fresh opportunities for industrial growth, thereby strengthening the economic development of Kendrapara district.
