Aadhaar Seeding Made Mandatory for Beneficiaries to Ensure Transparency, Accuracy, and Timely Disbursement of Benefits

Bhubaneswar, July 10 [UDN}:  The Social Security Department has once again written to district collectors regarding pension-related matters. The letter directs officials to identify beneficiaries whose Aadhaar numbers have not yet been linked with their bank accounts.
According to the department, as many as 81,226 beneficiaries across the state have still not completed Aadhaar linking. District administrations have been instructed to identify such beneficiaries and ensure that their Aadhaar details are linked with their bank accounts at the earliest.
